Applying for an honorary patronage

To apply for honorary patronage by the Lieutenant Governor of Québec, please do so in a letter mailed and addressed to the Honourable Pierre Duchesne.

The letter, signed by a representative authorized by the organization, must indicate the kind of organization, its goals, its operational procedures, the members of its board of directors, its achievements, its activities and its clientele.

If the Lieutenant Governor grants honorary patronage, he will do so in compliance with the Instructions concerning the honorary patronages of Lieutenant Governors. This means that he cannot be directly or indirectly associated with fundraising.
